Optima red vs yellow top – which one survives offroading here?

I finally got myself a proper offroad toy, a 2016 Pajero that I'm slowly building for weekend desert trips, but the regular battery I had in there lasted exactly one dune bashing session before it gave up. A couple of the older guys in my camping group swear by spiral cell batteries because they handle vibration better, so I've been looking at Optima but honestly I'm confused between the red and yellow tops. I found a page for optima battery uae on BatteryZoneUAE that explains the difference but I'd still love to hear from people actually using them here in Dubai's heat and sand. The red top seems more for starting power which is mostly what I need since I don't run a fridge or lights overnight, but some people say the yellow is better because it can deep cycle if you accidentally drain it. I don't want to spend twice the price of a normal battery unless it's actually going to last more than one season. Anyone here running an Optima in their offroader or even a daily driver that sees rough roads? How many summers have you gotten out of it?
