So this happened out of nowhere today. Woke up, got ready, went down to the parking, turned the key and just heard that awful clicking sound. Nothing. I've had the car for about four years now and honestly never thought much about the battery until this moment. A friend of mine said it's probably just dead and I should get it replaced before the summer heat makes things worse, which apparently is a real thing here in Dubai. I had no clue where to go so I spent like half an hour looking around online and ended up on dubaicarbattery.ae which helped me figure out what type I needed. I also came across a few car battery shops dubai and was surprised by how many options there actually are. Ended up calling one that does home delivery and they came to my building within the hour, swapped it out in the parking lot and I was on my way by noon. Still a bit shaken by how fast it happened but honestly glad I now know the process. If you're in the same boat, don't panic, it's way more manageable than it looks.
