I've been one of those people who always said a car is meant to be driven and worrying about paint and interior perfection is just asking for stress, especially with a big SUV that hauls camping gear and sandy kids around half the time. But after a recent road trip to Liwa where the dust got into absolutely everything, I came back and just couldn't ignore how neglected the interior had gotten. The carpets were stained, the leather felt gritty no matter how much I wiped it down, and the outside had that faded look no amount of basic washing could fix. A buddy who takes his FJ to this one spot kept telling me to just bite the bullet so I finally did, and honestly I was not prepared for how much better the whole experience would be. I ended up going with http://exoticcarcare.ae/toyota-detailing-abu-dhabi/ after seeing some photos of work they'd done on other trucks and the transformation was pretty wild. The weird thing is I thought I'd just be happy to have a clean car again, but now I'm actually finding excuses to drive it more because it just feels nicer inside. Guess I'm one of those people now who actually cares. Anyone else go from being completely indifferent to realizing a proper detail actually makes a difference in how much you enjoy your daily drive?
Finally gave in and got the Land Cruiser detailed, wish I'd done it sooner
