Had my 2017 Cherokee in at the dealer for what should've been a simple brake job and they came back with this massive list of "urgent" repairs that totaled more than the car's probably worth at this point, and I'm standing there wondering if I look that gullible. The guy actually walked me through what was legitimately needed now versus what could wait another six months, which was refreshing because nobody likes being upsold on stuff they don't understand. Ended up paying maybe half of what the dealer quoted and the brakes feel perfect, plus I didn't get that slimy feeling you sometimes get walking out of a service center wondering if you just got taken for a ride.
Switched from agency service to an independent shop, honestly wish I'd done it sooner
